About this deal

Twisting that incredible gooey egg we all adore, it's no longer an Easter treat, but an all-year round yum-fest!

It was overkill in fact, and lacking the charm of a regular Creme Egg which is satisfying to bite into. i really do like the look of these chocolate bars, they probably taste exactley the same but i feel that i would get more pleasure eating an egg instead, as there is more filling then the chocolate bar itself.

Bite into a deliciously thick Cadbury milk chocolate egg and savour its gooey, indulgent white-and-yolk fondant centre. The bar is maybe 1/2 in diameter and about as long as a Twix bar is, with thick ridges (“twists”) running all along the bar.

While I do love my chocolate from time to time, that chocolate egg is just a little too realistic looking. Dom – i see what you mean but that still dosent change the fact that its really nothing new…as I said if this wasnt the only innovation we could expect from Cadbury this year I wouldnt be as disappointed. Even though this bar is probably not going to be widely available – if at all – in the US this Easter season, I can’t resist mentioning it just because of the tradition of creme eggs around the holiday. If anyone remembers it, Creme Egg Twisted was actually a bar version of Cadbury Creme Egg that was brought out a few years go, and previous to that is was Dairy Milk with Creme Egg.Because there’s no clear definition between the chunks, you get more of it than you did in the old Dairy Milk bar. Despite having kept my hands clean while eating it out of the wrapper, the experience just wan't the same as a real Cadbury Creme Egg, and I don't think I enjoyed it nearly as much. This sounded like a good idea to me, as it might allow the great fun of eating a Creme Egg without the messiness.
