About this deal

is aiden that fucking insecure with his dick that he challenges his child, HIS CHILD, as if he were dirt under his shoe. I wish characters stopped acting so scandalized by something that's perfectly normal, such as being a virgin at barely eighteen. His passion for caring may have only extended to those in his very small circle and he may have seen those certain traits about himself as flaws, but what I love about finding the person who completes you is they don’t see your flaws, they recognize their other half.

His lips twitch and that’s the nearest thing to a smile he offers, so I snatch it, lock in the corner of my heart with his name all over it, and press my body even closer. If you know me well, then you probably understand that I’m FUCKING OBSESSED with this book right now. When I saw the arc team saying that this book has so much pain I was waiting for something sad and heartbreaking, not pathetic and boring. but in their own respective books, they act like the same ol cavemen psychopaths that i'm tired of reading.I guess being Adrian’s (which is my favorite) daughter I knew she would be more like Lia, since Jeremy is his carbon copy, but never in my wildest thoughts I would think she would be like that. The plot in this book was more interesting than in the first one from the series, probably because of the mafia aspects. Probably my favorite moments were glimpses into those family times and hearing myself say, you fall for someone just like your parent, and for these two star-crossed lovers where the book had lots of heavy deep moments, that saying made me chuckle several times. I’m just now hungover and I’m gonna spend a least a week wallowing and thinking about this amazing story!

The way that it mainly starts for them is when Annika decides she needs a fake boyfriend to show that she is ''in love'' and won't be forced into an arranged marriage. I don’t want to color Rina’s book in a rose colored way, but I do adore that she so brilliantly matches her characters in a way that every crack they have in their armor or every flaw they possibly possess, their soulmate fills up those cracks and is drawn to the other even more so because of their flaws. It doesn’t have to be real, and you can always watch from the background, but the smokescreen of it is enough. With each twist and turn, Rina Kent keeps readers on the edge of their seats, craving more of the God’s story.my expectations for this book were SO HIGH, i was so fucking excited for the grumpy/sunshine trope, but it gave nothing. Aidan mentioned here that him and Asher are actually good friends and i had a eureka moment— like woahhh that makes so much sense, you guys must sit and bond over being the shittiest dads to ever exist!

I don't care how many times you tell me he's scary when the only remotely bad thing he manages to commit is trying to set some house on fire and FAILING.Annika has been buzzing around Creighton for a while - like a chattering, purple bee, trying to draw the attention of the silent and intense King brother in her friend group.

No, Annika, you just met a recycled version of all the other male characters ever written by Miss Kent. The grumpy sunshine was scrumptious got me licking my fingers blushing giggling kicking my feet- EVERYTHING. I do not think ANYBODY will see that twist coming, I also do not think anybody will see the events that transpired after he confronted Jeremy. i loved the way they both blossomed and changed, pushed each other to be better and to embrace parts of themselves they never previously allowed themselves. She was in cahoots with her husband in such a disturbing way that when he died, she was left to deal with the aftermath and decided to kill herself by hanging and kill 3-year-old Creigh by gas.

I was so happy that they have been included in this book in some chapters, they even have their own chapters from their perspective. With each page, readers are drawn deeper into a world where pain becomes a catalyst for transformation and redemption. He was adopted by King Aiden 🥰 and Elsa when he was 3, yet he still has emotional scars from those traumatic years he was with his birth parents.
