About this deal

The second book in Cornelia Funke's internationally celebrated trilogy – magical, thrilling and mesmerising. It was very long for an audio, even longer than Inkheart and it was also kind of boring until the last 25% of the book. I want to finish the series to see what happens, but honestly, I'm not looking forward to another 19 hour slog through an audiobook, or reading a 600+ page novel just to satisfy my curiosity.

Though some readers will simply enjoy the adventure story, other will be intrigued by Fenoglio's reflections on the impossibility of controlling what he has created. Brendan Fraser's recording is so wonderful, that you won't ever forget Dustfinger's Scottish accent or the glassman cursing in French! While the first volume always will get props for introducing me to this world, this second volume packed more of a punch for me and I simply adored the world of "Inkheart", the magic, the creatures and people's abilities. With the rightful heir to the throne of Ombra mysteriously brought back to life, but with no memories of 'his own' life, a war is imminent.

Lo bueno de los dos libros que leí de Mundo de Tinta es que tiene héroes que son lectores, y uno de ellos, escritor, incluso uno de los malos de este libro es lector.

When a stranger knocks at their door, Mo is forced to reveal an extraordinary secret – when he reads aloud, words come alive, and dangerous characters step out of the pages. Soon the whole world would be black as pitch, even the grass beneath Farid’s bare feet, and the ghosts would begin to whisper.Inkspell should serve as a special treat for fans of the first book, as characters from Inkheart who have found themselves in the "real world" (if there is such a thing) find themselves read back into their own mythic, word-spun world--along with some of our favorite "real-world" characters. The Adderhead decided, as celebration for his wife giving birth to a healthy son to release all of the prisoners from his cells, but the Black Prince suspects that he instead plans to sell the prisoners into slavery. This book is being heralded as a book to fill the void left by Harry Potter and is marketed to the same target age group. This book, it seems like there are too many threads and she's having a hard time keeping track of them all.

Fenoglio, the author of the fictional Inkheart, takes on a tragic role, as he sees his godlike idyll threatened when his words and characters take on lives of their own.And suffice to say, this book gladly does not suffer from the sophomore slump syndrome, but takes the next leap forward in terms of conventional children's storytelling. Capricorn's fortress turns out to be abandoned, for Capricorn and some of his henchmen has been read out of the Inkworld, making Mortola to face the fact that her son is not alive in this world as she has hoped - and ends up shooting Mo in the chest with a rifle.

Luckily, after being left for dead, they meet the world's best healer and thus are taken to the Black Prince and his merry gang of robbers. When he finds a crooked storyteller with the magical ability to read him back, he sets in motion a dangerous reversal that sees the characters of Inkheart transported to a charmed Inkworld, about to be fought over by rival rebels and princes. Soon the Magpie, mother of the late Capricorn, shows up at the bookish house, accompanied by Orpheus, who proceeds to read her and Mo into the book—Resa refuses to let go of her husband’s hand and is dragged back to the world where she spent years as a foreigner. Cosimo had an arranged marriage with Violante, the ugly but shrewd daughter of the evil Adderhead, who reigns across the mountains in Argenta. The Adderhead releases Mo and all the prisoners in the dungeon, but then sends his men and Basta after them to kill them all. Some of you may think that I waited too long between finishing this meandering doorstopper and reviewing it. El escenario cambia y eso lo hace más impredecible, al igual de emocionante ¿Qué hay en el Mundo de Tinta? Farid is resurrected in Dustfinger's place as Meggie reads Orpheus to the Inkworld to resurrect Dustfinger. It might be a wonderfully long, detailed book for some people who get the full immersion right, but in English, there were certain long passages that were .
